Is Loop Golf free?
For players, yes — join any trip for free and get full access to itineraries, scoring, and leaderboards. To run a trip as Captain, pay $79 for a single trip, or go annual at $99 for the first year (then $199/yr) for unlimited trips.
What's the difference between joining free and becoming a Captain?
Joining free lets you participate in any trip you're invited to — full itinerary, live scoring, and leaderboards. Becoming a Captain lets you run the trip: create and manage it, set up tournament formats, manage teams, handle logistics, and brand the event. Pay $79 for a single trip or go annual for unlimited trips.
Do my players need to pay anything?
Nope. When you create a trip as Captain, everyone you invite gets full trip access for free — scoring, leaderboards, itinerary, all of it. Only the Captain pays.
Can I try it before subscribing?
Absolutely. When a Captain invites you to a trip, you get full trip access for free. When you're ready to run your own, become a Captain for a single trip ($79) — no annual commitment.
How do I pay? Is it through the App Store?
On the web, you pay through Stripe. In the iPhone and Android apps, you buy through the App Store or Google Play. Either way, one purchase unlocks Loop Golf everywhere, and the apps are free to download.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Your subscription runs until the end of your billing period. No long-term contracts.
How many players can join a trip?
Unlimited. Whether you have 8 or 48 players, one Captain covers the whole group. Only the Captain pays — everyone they invite joins for free.

What does the AI actually do?
Loop Golf uses AI to write daily round recaps from your scoring data, generate trip preview summaries before you tee off, build itinerary recommendations for new destinations, and compile shareable highlight reels after the trip. It handles the content work so the captain doesn't have to.
